The method behind this video

  1. Read the public data and record the date: on 13 October 2026, the latest 30 videos on the county's youth channel, Pingtung Qinghangzhan (屏東青航站), were read; 26 had fewer than 100 views, and the median was 24.
  2. Find the matching project in the award notice: the 2025 (ROC year 114) Tourism Innovation Talent Training Program (E1140409-2) received NT$1,148,850 in central government funding for the whole program.
  3. Put the same videos side by side on two channels: two promotional videos posted on the county channel on 22 May 2026 had 8 and 2 views by 13 October; the versions on the implementing organization's own channel had 95 and 62.
  4. Be clear about what the money covered: the NT$1,148,850 funded the entire training program, including training, courses and promotion. The questions are two: who were these videos made for, and did the young people trained go on to find jobs?

Did you know the Pingtung County Government has a YouTube channel made specifically for young people?

Most likely not. Of its latest thirty videos, twenty-six have fewer than a hundred views.

The channel is called Pingtung Qinghangzhan, the youth academy of the Department of Labor and Youth Development. The thumbnails, editing and drone shots are all professional. The median view count of the latest thirty is twenty-four.

An example: the 2025 Tourism Innovation Talent Training Program received NT$1,140,000 in central government funding. Two promotional videos for it were posted on this channel. Guess how many people watched them? One got eight views, the other two.

If you want to sign off on the contractor's work like this, that's your call. But couldn't you at least ask your friends, family and county colleagues to click them past a hundred?

All right, for the record: these two were uploaded on 22 May. Five months later, one has eight views and the other two.

Let me give you a little boost here, OK? The link is in the comments. Everyone, go give the department a click.
